About Us.

Students With Goals S.W.G Inc. a 501(c) (3) founded in 2019 by Dayvon Byers to help at risk youth achieve long term goals, followed by the introduction of the Legacy 318 Mentor Program in 2022 to help youth readjust after the global pandemic.

The Legacy 318 program offers a proactive solution to address common youth struggles that lead to unfavorable outcomes and promote positive development among teenagers. Our comprehensive approach combines character development through basic boxing principles, fitness, academic assistance, and emotional health support.

Moreover, the program seeks to decrease disciplinary issues at home and in schools among students with significant or persistent behavioral challenges. Addressing these root causes is essential for creating safer communities.

Meet The Team.

Dayvon Byers

Dayvon, the second eldest among eight siblings in a single-parent household, alongside his older brother, had to shoulder numerous responsibilities. Their mother enrolled them in extra-curricular activities like singing, football, and boxing to keep them engaged. Thanks to these positive pursuits, Dayvon could steer clear of the challenges and temptations prevalent in his neighborhood. As a certified Youth Mental Health Coach, he firmly advocates for all teenagers to have access to a secure and nurturing environment.

Althea Byers

Growing up in the foster care system, Althea

and her twin sister leaned on each other for

safety and encouragement. Having worked as

a youth program director, Althea has

cultivated a strong affection and empathy for

teenagers. As a Civil and Domestic Mediator,

her goal is to inspire teens by demonstrating

that, regardless of their circumstances, they

can accomplish anything they set their minds

to with adequate support and a positive

environment.

Ayanna Mills Ambrose

Ayanna Mills Ambrose, an 18-time bestselling author, licensed and ordained evangelist, professional writer, and CEO of Thanx A. Mills, LLC. graduated with high honors from Temple University and later earned a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University. She founded Author In A Box, Inc. to offer writing and publishing resources to disadvantaged women and children. With over 20 years of experience in financial services, Ayanna now focuses full-time on ghostwriting and book publishing because she believes every voice deserves to be heard.
